Never, never give up pocket stone
This smooth glass hand made stone measures just 1.5 inches across. It's substantial enough to hold or grasp in the palm of your hand. To squeeze for comfort and support at the most difficult of times. It will also be a link to the person who sent it to you. A bond. The stone reads:
'Never never never give up'.
Winston Churchill said this on October 29, 1941, when he visited Harrow School. It was after the Blitz and things were looking up a bit for Britain. Here is the relevant part of the speech: "But for everyone, surely, what we have gone through in this period -- I am addressing myself to the School -- surely from this period of ten months, this is the lesson: Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never -- in nothing, great or small, large or petty -- never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy".
This comforting stone comes in a coordinating velvet bag. Great alone, or for adding to any basket.
